Healing refers to effects that recover a target demon's HP.

Mechanics

There are multiple types of healing: power-based, fractional, and fixed-amount.

Power-based healing

Power-based healing uses the skill's power and the caster's Magic ATK, according to the standard healing formula:

HEALING FORMULA = (MATK * (HEAL POWER * (1 + % HEALING MODIFIERS FROM SKILL LEVELS) / 100) * HEALING_CONST + MIN_HEAL_VAL) * RANDOM_HEA_VAR * (1 + % HEAL MODIFIERS)

Fractional healing

Fractional healing uses a percentage of the target's max HP. This number then replaces the MATK and power part of the formula.

FRACTIONAL HEALING FORMULA = (PERCENTAGE * TARGET MAX HP) * RANDOM_HEA_VAR * (1 + % HEAL MODIFIERS)

Note that modifiers to increase or decrease healing are applied multiplicative to fractional healing.

  • For example: If a skill would heal 20% of max HP, and the user then equips Recovery Amp (+25% to healing effectiveness), then the total healing is 25% of max HP (as 25% of 20% is 5%), not 45% of max HP.

If a demon is affected by Icon Fortify.png Fortify or Icon Decay.png Decay, then fractional healing will use the post-increase/decrease max HP.

Fixed-amount healing

Fixed-amount healing works similar to fractional healing, but uses a fixed amount stated in the skill (for example: 400 HP)
