You're Next (status effect)

You're Next is a special status effect that causes affected demons, if revived, to revive as a level 1 Reiko Kashima.

Mechanics

If a demon is affected by You're Next, and if they are then revived, then they will revive as a level 1 Reiko Kashima with her default skills.

The affected demon's original skills are lost in this process. This combined with being level 1 and having weak skills, renders the demon effectively harmless.
Since Reiko does not have any innate skills to revive herself, this can act as a pseudo- Revive Ban, though only for self-reviving skills. The affected demon's allies can still revive them, provided they have a skill to do so.

You're Next cannot be removed by skills that would remove status Ailments, such as Prayer.

You're Next also cannot be prevented by skills that would prevent ailments, such as Barrier.

You're Next cannot be removed by skills that would remove Good Status Effects, such as Silent Prayer.
