Charge is a Good Status Effect that increases the damage of user's next successful physical attack by 125%.
Mechanics
If a demon is affected by
Charge, then their next successful Physical attack will deal 125% more damage.
- Put in multiplier form, this is effectively 2.25x.
- Note that this applies to physical attacks, as in attacks that can crit or miss. This is NOT exclusive to the
Phys attribute.
When a physical attack lands while Charged, the effect is consumed.
- Note that the standard physical attack that all demons have is affected by Charge, and therefore can consume it.
If a physical skill with multiple hits is used while Charged, then all hits of that skill will have their damage increased. (For example: All hits of
Hell Thrust will be boosted.)
- However, if the skill has Chain Effect attacks, then those are considered separate. Charge will be consumed by the initial effect, and will not be available for the Chain Effect(s). (For example:
Lethal Flood's first hit will consume Charge, so the second hit will not have Charge.)
Misc
- Charge cannot be active at the same time as
Concentrate. Only the most-recently-cast effect will be kept. - Charge is considered a "Good Status Effect", thus it is susceptible to removal by skills such as Silent Prayer.
