This page aims to index standard team compositions used in both PVE and PVP, with sample teams for quick reference. For an in-depth guide on the team, click on the Main Article below each section.
Teams in this page are sorted by Alphabetical order.
Ailment Team
Main Article: Ailment Team
An Anti-Meta Team, Ailments are very strong but easily countered by Clerics. This makes them easy targets for revenging but also very good 'landmines' to catch players doing Random PVP without a counter. These teams have been around since the very beginning and will never go out of fashion as a result. They are also a great team to revenge Defense Teams without Clerics.
Archangels
Main Article: Archangels
Uriel, Raphael and Gabriel possess passives that trigger attacks at the start of each turn when they are together. These teams aim to decimate the opponent in the very first turn via a combination of their passive skills and strong Magic attacks.
Asherah Midrange
Main Article: Asherah Midrange
A flexible engine that can incorporate multiple strats. These teams use Asherah as their main support, giving the team access to Mother's Creation, the most powerful Resurrection spell in the game. As the team has no fixed strategy and can adapt depending on the opponent, it is a popular choice for Random PVP.

Hell Gongen
Main Article: Hell Gongen
Physical-focused Team that abuses Crits for extra Press Turns while doing insane damage. The core of the team is Hell Biker who can grant Rebellion (guaranteed Crit) to all allies, and Zaou-Gongen who provides Phys Pierce to every demons with the Rebellion buff.
As Rebellion and Charge carry through waves in PVE, it is possible to stack both of these before a Boss Wave and unleash your full payload on the Boss. This results in heavy damage and can be used to brute force most PVE content, and even some earlier Kiwamis.
Hero Masakado T1
Main Article: Hero Masakado T1
A very strong team but also a very expensive one, these teams abuse Masakado A's Guardian of the East passive to generate an extra Press Turn going first, and aim to annihilate the enemy Turn 1. The team has incredibly high damage output and can break open even the most defensive teams! It has single-handedly warped the PVP Metagame and changed the way players configure their teams and demons, especially for Random PVP.

Mortal Team
Main Article: Mortal Team
A team that abuses the powerful Mortal effect, which instantly kills a demon regardless of HP. These teams forgo offensive stats for bulk, choosing to kill the opponent via Mortal instead.
Parvati Team
Main Article: Parvati Team
Semi anti-meta team designed to counter Intimidating Stance Teams. This team can be built purely using fuseable demons alone, and is a good budget option for players without banner-exclusive powerhouses. It is also a very good team to build if you managed to pull Shiva A.
Repel Team
Main Article: Repel Teams
An Anti-Meta team that preys on the Pierce (especially Phys Pierce) infested Metagame. Repel Pierce passive negates Pierce on Repel resistances, protecting you from sweeps while you counterattack. Compared to Drain Teams, it is a lot more F2P-friendly and can be built using fuseables alone.
