Icon Spirit Chains of Suppression.png Spirit Chains of Suppression, or more-simply Suppression, is a Spirit Chain effect that disables Chain Effects from the target's passive skills.

Mechanics

When Suppression is active, the target's passive skills and panels cannot activate Chain Effects. However, active skills can still activate their Chain Effects.

Suppression cannot be removed by skills that would remove status Ailments, such as Prayer.

  • Suppression also cannot be prevented by skills that would prevent ailments, such as Icon Barrier.png Barrier.

Suppression cannot be removed by skills that would remove Good Status Effects, such as Silent Prayer.

Suppression cannot be applied to bosses in PvE. Bosses are enemies with a purple aura, and a green health bar instead of yellow health bar.

Duration

Suppression can have up to 5 counts. Applying the effect will add counts, and 1 count will be removed each time the target demon completes an action (use a skill, standard attack, etc). The effect will be removed when its count reaches 0.

Resistance

Suppression resistance will reduce the amount of counts of Suppression received per application attempt.
