Icon Elec Resistance Down 2.png Attribute affinity down (sometimes called "elemental resistance down" by players) is a special status effect that downgrades the affinities (resistances) of the target's attributes (elements).

Mechanics

Attribute affinities are tiered as follows:

Tier Affinities
Tier 4 Null, Repel, Drain
Tier 3 Resist
Tier 2 - (Neutral)
Tier 1 Weak

When attribute affinity down is applied, the target's resistance will be downgraded an amount of tiers matching the stack count. The Tier cannot go below 1.

  • For example: Zeus.jpg Zeus's Omniscience and Omnipotence applies Icon Elec Resistance Down 2.png Elec resistance down level 2.
    • Suppose Zeus applies this effect to Samyaza.jpg Samyaza (normally Repels Elec). Repel is Tier 4, so Elec resistance down lv2 decreases it 2 levels, to Tier 2. Samyaza's Elec resistance is now - (Neutral).
    • Suppose the target is instead Kartikeya.jpg Kartikeya (normally Neutral to Elec). Neutral is Tier 2, so Elec resistance down lv2 decreases it by 2 levels. But since Tier cannot go below 1, it ends up at Tier 1. Kartikeya's Elec resistance is now Weak.

Attribute affinity down can be stacked up to 3 times. The amount of stacks is indicated by the amount of arrows on the effect's icon:

  • Icon Elec Resistance Down 1.png 1 stack
  • Icon Elec Resistance Down 2.png 2 stacks
  • Icon Elec Resistance Down 3.png 3 stacks

Attribute affinity down cannot be removed by skills that would remove status ailments, such as Prayer.

  • Attribute affinity down also cannot be prevented by skills that would prevent ailments, such as Icon Barrier.png Barrier.

Attribute affinity down cannot be removed by skills that would remove good status effects, such as Silent Prayer.

This effect does not work in Democalypse.

Duration Ticks

The turn duration for this effect will tick down at the start of the affected team's turn.

  • For example: If your team set up attribute affinity down on the enemy team, then attribute affinity down's duration will tick down at the start of the enemy team's turn.
