Pandemonium is the central hub for upgrading and customizing demons.
Contents
Upgrade
Enhance
Enhancing a demon consumes unwanted demons or "Sword of Kusanagi" items to give EXP to a target demon.
Awakening
- Main Articles: Awakening, Strange Signal, Archetypes
Awakening uses Aether, a resource from Strange Signal, to unlock an extra skill on a target demon. The skill available through Awakening depends on the target demon's Archetype (color).
Evolution
- Main Article: Leveling - The Problem of Evolution
Evolution is the process of increasing a demon's star rarity, and subsequently their max level.
Customize
Brands
- Main Article: Brands
Brands are equipment for demons, which drop from certain quests and have randomized stats. Here, brands can be equipped and upgraded.
Transfer
- Main Article: Skill Transfer
Transfer allows demons or skill genomes to be sacrificed, to move certain skills to a target demon. Certain skills can also be extracted into Blank Genomes, which will not consume the demon donating the skill.
Spirit Merge
- Main Article: Spirit Merge
Spirit Merge applies spirit items to be applied to a demon's panels. Partially-filled panels will grant stat boosts, and completed panels grant additional (often-unique) abilities. Spirits are primarily obtained by sacrificing duplicates of the same demon.
Only demons of base 4★ or 5★ rarity can be eligible for panels (but even then, some demons are not eligible for spirit merge).
Mitama Infusion
- Main Article: Mitama
Mitama Infusion consumes Mitama demons or Mitama Extract items from Aura Gate 1 and Aura Gate 2 (Hollow World), to increase a demon's raw stats.
In order to be eligible for Mitama Infusion, the target demon must already be Awakened.
Sin Infusion
- Main Article: Sin Infusion
Sin Infusion consumes Essence of Sin from Tokyo Abyss to increase a demon's raw stats, similar to Mitama Infusion.
In order to be eligible for Sin Infusion, the target demon must already be Awakened.
Transcend
- Main Article: Transcend
Transcend consumes Transcend Stones specific to each demon, to unlock transcend panels. Transcend panels can grant stat boosts and additional perks, such as a seventh skill slot. Unlike spirit merge, transcend panels are laid out in a grid that must be traversed.
Transcend Stones are obtained in the Shop in exchange for Transcend Motes, which are available from specific summoning banners.
Sell
- Main Article: Karma
Unwanted demons can be sold for Karma, which can then be exchanged in the Shop for items such as archetype shifters/selectors.
