Tips

Demons are generally weak to Ice and use Fire magic in this Aether.
From stage 6 on, they also use Light magic.
On stage 10, they have Ice magic as well.
Transfer Bufu- magic, if your demons don't have it already.
Preta.jpg Preta and Jack Frost.jpg Jack Frost have basic Bufu available for transfer, and are 1★ that can be recruited or fused for cheap.

Recommended Demons

Guidelines for recommended demons:

  • Prioritize demons with good magic stats.
  • Stage 1-5 demons shouldn't depend on specific archetypes.
  • Avoid listing 5★ and gacha-exclusive demons for stages 1-5.
  • If a gacha-exclusive demon is listed, it should be in the permanent summon pool. (Nothing that's exclusive to specific banners or collaborations).
  • Avoid listing 1★ demons, as they are usually too weak.
  • If 2★ are listed, limit it to only the best one available.

Stage 1-5, Null Fire

Stage 6–9, Null Fire/Light

Stage 10, Null Fire/Ice/Light

General Strategy: Stages 1-9

IMPORTANT : This strategy will fail if you give Shionyan her Assist skill which mutes enemies and causes them to use physical attacks!
Fuse a Teal Teal Orochi.jpg Orochi
A Teal Orochi can solo Strange Signal: Chaotic on Auto for all stages up to 9
Note: A Teal Orochi is important to fuse as it can do the same job for Strange Signal: Lawful
Stage 8 provides a good balance between stamina cost and Aether recieved (You get Large, Medium and Small)
The level of the Orochi is up to the user. A higher level will mean a faster completion time.
At Level 40 you can auto Stage 8 for a long time as your stamina will replenish as you farm, perfect for unattended farming
If you only have short periods of time available to farm, take the Orochi to max level
Note: Orochi has a weak magic stat and benefits more from Physical attacks. As the Demons here are weak to ice the Auto AI often prioritises the use of Orochis Bufudyne over his Physical attacks

  • Everything except Loki is weak to Ice, so make sure to bring some spells of that element. Enemies in this stage will not attack you physically, and will limit themselves to using a lot of ST and AoE Fire magic, as well as some ST Ice and Light magic for greater coverage. Any demon that can Null/Drain/Repel Fire while not being weak Ice or Light is an ideal option for this stage. Alternatively, you can just choose to use Makarakarn every turn to take away the first two enemy press turns with ease, although it will leave your weaknesses exposed after that. Since the Ice spells are ST only, you can probably get away with using demons weak to Ice, since there are a lot of those that can also void Fire spells.
