Red Teal Purple Red Teal B A B S
Pros
  • Soul Offered to God grants 70% hp with levels, along with 60% reduction to incoming damage from Physical attacks, with 30% of that being teamwide. Additionally, the opponents will not generate bonus turns when they use ANY Physical attacks, preventing not only critpassing but also even when they strike a weakness.
    • Pairing him with Inanna makes all the enemy's attacks super inefficient in terms of turn economy unless they have Press Turn Retention, as both Magic and Physical attacks will consume a whole icon.
  • His Order Crest works when any ally is struck with a Physical attack or they receive new Spirit Chains, and applies Tarunda+ and two counts of Spirit Chains of Corrosion on all enemies and adds 1 count of Fortify and Rakukaja+ on all allies.
  • Summon Thor-Pale Rider, is a powerful and versatile skill.
    • Summon Thor consumes a whole Press Turn much like Demonsbane or Arms Dance, which can be useful for bypassing Elec Pierce Negation. Additionally, it cleanses one count of Indignation/Corrosion/Suppression once per turn, helping allies to recover from Nuwa's Suppression to be able to damage her. Additionally, it recovers 1 MP, adding MP support to his allies.
    • Summon Pale Rider has insane damage potential. It removes Barrier from a single target, inflicts Poison on all enemies and then hits them with a whopping 280 BP Force nuke.
  • Good awakening skills, with Red's Thunderstorm's Gleam boosting his Elec/Force damage by 30%, Teal's 6th Sense Survivor + giving him more survivability when paired with an enemy or ally Danu and crit rate reduction, and Purple's Agility Amp IV adding 30 AGI to him for midrange or even T1 shenanigans.
  • Solid panels, notably his P2 reducing the Critical hit rate of attacks by 15% for all allies and boosting his already great Magic damage by another 30%.
Cons
  • Order Crest: Law is incredibly situational and seldom triggers when fighting most Magic teams as the most commonly used units, Vanitas, Danu and Hakumen no Mono not use Spirit Chains.
  • Has no answer to Vanitas aside from the double counts of Spirit Chains of Corrosion, which are hard to trigger without a Physical attacker on the enemy team.
    • Even if he does inflict Corrosion, he still has no source of reverse damage reduction, meaning he will be out of luck if all of his teammates die.
  • Summon Thor-Pale Rider, while on paper being very powerful, is still outclassed by many other demons.
    • Summon Thor consumes a whole Press Turn much like Demonsbane or Arms Dance, which can be useful in some scenarios but is actively detrimental in most. Additionally, it only cleanses one count of Indignation/Corrosion/Suppression and only once per turn, meaning he is very much outclassed by Krishna if you want to cleanse Spirit Chains, who not only has an answer to the Vanitas question, but also cleanses ALL Spirit Chains when using Salvation's Melody. Additionally, it recovers a pitiful 1 MP, which is not much as there are much better options for MP recovery. Additionally, this will cause enemy Armaitis to charge their Order Crest and give your team Spirit Chains of Salvation, which while it grants you a charge for Order Crest: Law, it also hits one of your party members with a 7500 damage nuke.
    • Summon Pale Rider also seems good on paper, and for the most part it is. Except for the part where the 280 BP nuke only hits those with Ailments, which coincidentally Vanitas gains immunity to in Panel 1, meaning it will not get hit by it, nor will any demon with Null Poison. Consider pairing him with other ailment inflictors such as Cleopatra or Hathor A, but be wary of totally immune demons such as Panel 1 Idun or Vanitas.
  • His options being AoE-only makes him a detriment when fighting Nuwa as it allows her to use her Order Crest more often.
  • Suffers a bit on PvP Defense as players can choose whether or not to attack on whole press turns, negating his critpass denial.
Notes
  • Summon Pale Rider has an interesting glitch where it can display an old and notably unused icon for Heal skills. This does not affect gameplay in any way.
