Official Profile
A goddess appearing in Celtic mythology. One of the three goddesses of war. Her name means "Great Queen." She is said to be a deification of sovereignty and control that presides over destruction and victory. In Celtic mythology she professed her love to Cu Chulainn, but was rejected. In anger, Morrighan transformed into various animals to obstruct his battle, but to no avail. She would later appear as an old woman and have Cu Chulainn heal her wounds. Afterwards, she offered him her aid.
