Pros
  • He is essentially an entire Ailment Team neatly packaged into one demon. Not only does Bohemian-- err Bemusing Rhapsody remove Barriers, it also has a high chance of inflicting Charm, Mute and Curse, while only costing 5 MP to cast.
  • Deadly Melody auto-casts two random buffs and debuffs every time ailments land, allowing you to repeatedly swing buffs in your favor especially when paired with other ailment demons like Hathor A and Cleopatra. This is very powerful with Panel 2 unlocked, as it gives your teammates increased damage against Cursed and Charmed units.
  • Thanks to Status Ailment Resonance he will unlock different effects depending on the current count on the enemy team. On count 3, all party members will deal an extra 20% more damage. On count 6, David will fire off a 10% Fractional damage hit 1-8 times on random enemies while removing 1MP from them at the start of the enemy turn.
  • Panel 3 reduces ailment cure rate by 25%. This is incredibly strong as it ensures Bind and Charm will always last a turn (as long as they don't have increased recovery). Additionally, this panel will lower damage dealt by all ailmented enemies by a whopping 60%.
  • Panels 1 and 3 give him increased Battle Speed, allowing him to act as a semi-Speedster.
  • Innate Epitome of Madness and Insanity in Purple, combined with Bemusing Rhapsody's high ailment base chance means he is almost guaranteed to land his ailments, allowing you to forego ailment infliction for other brand stats like Speed instead.
Cons
  • Ironically has no ailment immunities.
  • While he has decent damage reduction against ailmented enemies, his lack of bulk will still leave him incredibly frail.
  • Panels are mandatory on him, without them he is a rather mediocre ailment unit.
  • Hard-countered by Ailment immunity, which most meta relevant demons innately have.

Provides crippling ailments and buff control for fast teams. Pair him with demons like Angra and Wilith to get multiple buffs and debuffs applied to ensure buffs swing in your favor. No ailment modifiers and Sick brands are used since his base kit already gives him a ton of ailment infliction rate alongside Bemusing Rhapsody's high infliction rate, instead team speed boosters are ran to make the team as fast as possible, especially with his P1&3.
