Official Profile
One of the names for God that appears within the Old Testament. It seems to reference armies or hosts. In the Book of Samuel, it is depicted as an almighty being that would lead the Israelites to victory by coming to their aid and vanquishing their foes. Based on the Kabbalah school of thought from Jewish mysticism, the seventh sephirah, Netzach, can be interpreted as being Netzach Sabaoth, while the eighth, Hod, can be interpreted as being Elohim Sabaoth.
