Huang Long natural role is Support. Incredible AG with decent HP, MATK.
With Five Elements as an exclusive move, it repels all Mag Attacks(including almighty). This is very useful in early to mid-game PVE content as after that, the enemies will pierce through it.
He is a great choice as a support Magic attacker.
PvE Builds
For PVE, survivability is a must. Huang Long comes with natural RS to 4 magic elements and Null Light.
Brand Priorities:
- Hp% LIFE, DIVINE
- MATK% LIFE, DIVINE
- PDEF+
3 Set: LIFE, DIVINE
2 Set: SPEED, HEAL, WARD
Mitama:
- Vi (20/20)
- Ma (20/20)
- Ag (10/20)
Good Archetypes:
- TEAL : Null Dark, now having both Null Light and Null Dark, a very common element throughout PVE.
- PURPLE : Speedster, compliments Huang Long high Ag, this is great to guarantee a first turn Five Elements.
- YELLOW : Luster Candy, great to buff up the team. Best for Late Game PVE(In AUTO Mode, bot might prioritize this over Five Elements which can be bad)
-RED is not good, unless building Single Nuke, its very niche and not worth it, in certain circumstances it can be better than YELLOW.
Skills:
- AOE Healing Skill: Media...
- Revival Skill: Recarm, Samrecarm.
- Debuffing Skill: Tarunda, Acid Breath...
EX: With Huang Long decent HP, it is great to compliment it with HP% Brands, however he has low resistances. Huang Long can spam Five Elements as long as he is alive, a good support skill to "sustain" the team in case there are physical attackers or Repel Breakers is a must in the late game.
Other Builds include nuker, instead of a survivability build, a Huang Long makes for a decent Magic attacker.
