Despite being a physical attacker without inherent Phys Pierce, Shiva does have an effective niche in PvP as a damage dealer in Hell Gongen offense teams. Vorpal Blade sweeps hard, and Pralaya is effective when enemies have an anti-Phys Pierce skill or have extremely high evasion.
Without Panel 3 Active:
- Archetype: Teal (Drain Ice)
- Skill 1: Butcher
- Skill 2: Hades Blast
- Brands: Divine + Ward. Phys Atk+% primary stats. Get as much Phys Acc+% from tertiary skills as possible.
Butcher enhances the damage of both physical AOE skills and Pralaya. Hades Blast is needed against Intimidating Stance teams, because Shiva will probably need to sweep on its first action.
With Panel 3 active, Vorpal Blade costs 5 MP, making Hades Blast unnecessary and opening up room for a single target attack, such as Fatal Sword L, Berserker God, or God Hand from Red archetype. You can also use War brands instead of Divine.
