Anniversary Rerolling Guide
Dx2 is currently offering 100 free summons every two weeks, starting now till end of Jan (for a total of 300 summons). This is the BEST time to reroll, as not only do you have a massive amount of pulls each reroll, the summoning pool consists of many powerful demons that are normally only available via their seasonal banners.
- The first wave of free summons have expired. If you start the game today though you can still 200 free summons.
- Do not use your choice file! It does not have an expiry date and we get another wave of free summons (for 300 summons total). Use your choice AFTER all rolls have been completed.
- Your mileage might vary with what is considered a "good start", but you should aim for at least 1 demons from the godly tier and/or 1 from the extremely good tier.
- Demons in Blue are available from the Special Selector (aka 2.5 Anniv Selector) which will be handed out end of the month, so you might want to prioritize the demons without this symbol.
- Demons in Red are available from the 3rd Anniv Selector which you should have gotten from the current login bonus. This Selector will contain all demons marked in Blue, in addition to the demons marked in Red.
- You might want to take the above into account while rerolling. For example, you can get Masakado from the 3rd Anniv File, but not Asura Lord, so you might prefer rerolling for Asura Lord and selecting Masakado from the choice file instead.
- For a more detailed writeup, check the Tier List entry for each demon.

Berserk Rerolling Guide
Dx2 is currently having a collaboration event with Berserk! If you're a fan of the series, now is a decent time to jump into the game as there is no guarantee these units will ever make a return, and several of them are rather powerful. Rerolling is less painful this time due to SEGA giving everyone free 500 gems, so you can do a 10 pull the moment you unlock the summoning tutorial. In addition, Berserk units have a much better rate this time around (1.8%, literally triple their debut banner rates).
- Start by progressing through the story tutorial a bit until you unlock the summoning portal.
- Press the HOME button and collect your free 5★ Zodd.
- Press the PRESENT icon and collect all your free gifts, one of which is 500 gems.
- Press the SUMMON icon to enter the summoning portal. Complete the tutorial, and spend your 500 gems on the special step up (see the image on the right).
- For the curious, both step up banners offer the same rates, but the special one has bonus tomes for the latter steps. Tomes are used for this game's pity / safety net system - in other words, the special step up requires less gem totals to guarantee a unit. The second step up is mainly for players who have already finished the special step up and still wish to continue summoning.
- If you are not satisfied with your rolls, reinstall the app and repeat the steps above.
Berserk Rerolling Tier List
There are seven Berserk characters currently available. Your mileage might vary with what is considered a "good start", but you should at least aim for a unit that is "good" or above. For a more detailed writeup, check the Tier List entry for each demon.
Godly tier
- Skull Knight - PVP focused
- The only source of Almighty Revive Seal in the game, and one of only four units with Almighty Physical skills.
- Incredibly prevalent in PvP as Revive Seal is a ridiculously powerful mechanic. Almighty is also (mostly) unblockable, letting you cruise through early PvP.
- He doesn't shine much in PvE (barring one stage in extremely end game content), try to reroll for Skull Knight if you enjoy or would like to prioritize PVP.
- Guts - Balanced
- Dragon Slayer is a powerful piercing All Targets attack that has low MP cost. This is insanely powerful for both PVE and PVP, as you can cleave through swathes of demons while ignoring resistances (until Anti-Piercing units start showing up in PVP).
- He is a Balanced unit that can do well in all content, even in very late game PVE content and very high tiers of PVP.
- You can't really go wrong with rerolling for Guts, try for him if you can't decide on which areas to specialize in.
Good tier
- Berserker Guts - PVP focused
- His unique skill Berserk has the highest base power (300 BP) in the game. Coupled with his high AGI and STR stats, he promotes a "one turn kill" playstyle where you aim to kill the enemy before they can even act.
- However this comes with a cost: His passive makes him lose 40% HP every turn, and he cannot be revived if he dies to this passive. This makes him very difficult to use, especially for beginners.
- He has incredible potential however, if you choose to reroll for him, you will face a long and rough road ahead with a glimmer of late game salvation, just like the Struggler himself.
- Griffith - PVP focused
- The only source of Almighty Phys Repel, Griffith has high burst damage for assassinating key targets, and giving your team temporary immunity from Physical damage if he succeeds.
- Very high innate dodge helps him cheese any Piercing Physical skills that manage to bypass the said barrier.
- He has very steep brand and skill-transfer requirements, making him less suited for beginners.
- Griffith is a very tricky unit to use, and his potential has not really been proven in PVP yet. He has unproven potential for now, reroll for him if you believe he did nothing wrong.
Okay tier
- Schierke - PVE focused
- Access to 4 elements in one spell makes her good for early-mid game PVE.
- Her elemental magic makes her a decent Democalypse demon too. Democalypse is the Guild vs Guild game mode, and having her means you can contribute better to your guild and/or eventually gain access to the higher ones.
- She is pretty useless for PVP due to her piercing skill having a hard cooldown, if you reroll for her, you are essentially giving up any PVP edge you can gain from rerolling.
Meh tier
- Zodd - PVE focused
- You already get a free one in Clear, which works good enough for PVE. The colored variants do not add enough to reroll for them.
- Please reroll
- Mozgus - Bad for everything
- Awkward to build as he requires way too many stats for mediocre payoff.
- Outclassed by several easily fuseable demons like Gogmagog.
- Please reroll'
Shops
This section is currently very outdated and needs to be updated.
There are several shops and several currencies to be aware of.
- Gems Shop
Gems are the main currency of the game and should only be used in the shop when you have a need for the particular item. Nothing from Pack 1 is necessary for playing the game, and only exists for convenience.
Pack 1 Contents | Gems Cost | Availability | Rating | Explanation |
---|---|---|---|---|
Variable | Monetary | Depends on availability | N/A | Various packs will circulate in the shop based on whatever events are happening at that time. |

Pack 2 Contents | Gems Cost | Availability | Rating | Explanation |
---|---|---|---|---|
Skill Customization Set | 1000 Gems | Two times per week | ★☆☆☆☆ | Skills chosen are completely random. If there is a particular skill you want it is better to spend gems on time-limited Skill Summons. |
Monster Dew x5 | 100 Gems | Once per week | ★★★★☆ | This is the best deal for Stamina Pots in the game. |
Yata Mirror 4★ Set | 1000 Gems | Two times per week | ★☆☆☆☆ | It is better to grind and level a 4★ demon than spend the 1000 gems. |
Magnetite Set | 400 Gems | 10 times per month | ★☆☆☆☆ | Not worth it unless you need the magnetite to perform a desired fusion. Better to farm it in AG. |
Brand Cube Set | 900 Gems | 10 times per week | ★☆☆☆☆ | Not worth the amount of gems required, better to farm for brands in Brand of Sin or Aura Gate. |

Everything else | Variable | N/A | ????? | Only buy if you have a need for it. Most are definitely not worth it. |
- Black Market
Macca becomes extremely valuable later in the game, so be careful with your spending.
- Early on, look for Repel Mag, Repel Phys and Revival Balm.
- As you stock up on these items, stop buying them.
- 4*+ Brands with decent Stats (i.e. +PAtk% Primary on War Set) are usually worth it early on.
- Divine Brands with decent stats are worth it early on.
- 6* Brands with decent stats are generally always worth it, as these are much rarer and not as easy farmable.
- Some Purge Extracts are needed for the middle floors of AG2. (Max. 20 of all)
- SSF (Superior Summoning Tickets) are also rarely available. If you have excess Macca, they can be worth it.
- Fame/PvP Shop
Purchase Magatama first.
- Fame can be gotten by borrowing your friends' demons, helping out in battle, sending & receiving likes, and when your friends use your support demon.
- PvP points can be gotten by defeating opponents in D2 Duel.
