Though cowardly, preferring to avoid fighting, harpies also have a knack for mischief. Originally, they were goddesses of the island Crete. In their respective mythology, they are said to have appeared as the three sisters Aello (Storm), Ocypete (Swift Foot), and Celaeno (Dark Clouds).
