Official Profile
One of the Four Heavenly Kings in Buddhist faith, also known as Tamonten. He is commonly depicted wearing armor, with a spear in hand and an angry expression on his face. Bishamonten is protector of the North under the command of Sakra and is a similar being to the eight legions. He is reowned as a war god, for even Prince Shotoku prayed to him, and later incorporated as one of the Seven Gods of Fortune, the deity that protects wealth.
