A demon of the Ishikawa prefecture that takes the form of a kitten and is said to often bewitch people. Because it has a wide-ended tail and lives in aquatic regions, it is thought to be a type of Kappa. It loves to fool people with illusions that cause them to wrestle with boulders and tree roots, or it may transform into a beautiful woman to seduce them.
