The mother goddess of Celtic Mythology.
She is the mother if a family known as the Tuatha De Danann, and is also said to be the mother of the world itself, from which all life sprung forth.
It is said that, to this day, Danu's large body is still lying on Earth. The Munster region in Ireland where faith in her is widespread, is said to be especially blessed by her.
