A god from Ugaritic mythology, who by some accounts is said to be the father of Baal. His name derives from the word for grain, and he was thought to bring bountiful harvests to the land. Dagon was put in Cthulu Mythos as a giant fish person. He is depicted holding a stone pillar while wailing.
