Official Profile
Instinctual desires buried deep within the human psyche. The famed Austrian psychologist, Freud, described this as one of the three agents, the id, that encompass human mentality. Es embodies this instinctual, uncoordinated energy that drives our subconscious minds towards attaining pleasure and fulfilling our own selfish needs. In reality, humans are grounded by social niceties with the ego acting as the mediator between the id and any such rules or constructs. Nonetheless, Es will attempt to draw our carnal desires to the surface, while a mind's super-ego works to counter this.
