Rahab/Lore
Official Profile
A monster of the sea appearing in the Old Testament. His name means "arrogant" and "violent." He is known as a symbol of chaos, existing even before our world's creation. However, he was split in two for defying God, with half of him becoming the sky and the other half the sea. He now dwells in the Red Sea, and is known as the sea's primordial ruler. He is often depicted as an enemy of Jewish people, and sometimes as the guardian angel of Egypt. He is also found in Babylonian mythology, where he is the first monster born from the Abzu and Tiamat.
