Official Profile
A warrior appearing in the German epic poem "The Song of the Nibelungs" who served as King Gunther's loyal chief vassal. Hagen assassinated the invulnerable Siegfried by stabbing him in the back, his one weak point, with a spear while Siegfried was drinking from a spring. Afterward, following a hard-fought battle, Siegfried and King Gunther were captured. They were then beheaded by Kriemhild, Siegfried's wife.
