Official Profile
Indrajit is depicted as the son of Ravana, the great king of the Rakshasa,in the Sanskrit epic of ancient India, the Ramayana. Originally named Meghanada, the god Brahma was so impressed with him for conquering Indra, that he gave him the name "Indrajit". Meghanada means "Thunderous" or Lord of Sky(Clouds) and in fact it is said that he was truly worthy of that name in the battlefield.
