Official Profile
The most worshipped goddess in Hindu religion, Parvati is a representation of beauty and virtue, it is said that Shiva once had a wife named Sati, and when she died she was reborn as Parvati to become Shiva's wife again. But Parvati was often neglected by the meditative Shiva. so one day she covered up Shiva's eyes during his meditation, causing him to open his third eye.
