The guardian of the first, second and third floors of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Though a charming girl with a unique manner of speech, her real form is that of a merciless true vampire. Though she possesses the highest combat ability of the floor guardians, being bathed in too much blood will activate her skill, Blood Frenzy, causing her to lose herself in her urge for slaughter. Though she has unusual tastes and preferences, Shalltear loves Ainz from the bottom of her heart. She frequently quarrels with Albedo over who will be his first wife.
